·3 ripe Hass avocados
·1/2 white onion finely diced
·1 serrano or jalapeño minced
·1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
·Juice of 2 limes
·1 tsp kosher salt
·1 roma tomato seeded and diced optional
1.Halve and pit avocados. Scoop flesh into a bowl.
2.Add onion, chile, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
3.Mash with a fork until mostly smooth with some chunks.
4.Taste and adjust seasoning — it should be bright and punchy.
5.Press plastic wrap directly on surface to store.
6.Always make more than you think you need.
