·2 cups basmati rice
·1 lb chicken, cut pieces
·1 onion, sliced
·2 tbsp yogurt
·1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
·1 tsp turmeric
·1 tbsp garam masala
·1 tsp cumin
·3 tbsp oil
·3 cups water
·Fresh cilantro
1.Rinse and soak rice 20 minutes.
2.Cook onions until golden.
3.Add chicken, yogurt, and spices; cook 10 min.
4.Add rice and water; bring to boil.
5.Cover; cook 15 minutes low heat.
6.Rest 10 minutes; fluff and garnish.
Note: I add leftover peas or other veg to mine.
