Recipe

Ingredients

·1 lb shrimp, peeled
·4 cups water
·1 cup grits
·1 cup cheddar cheese
·4 slices bacon
·2 cloves garlic
·1 tbsp butter
·1 tbsp flour
·1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1.Cook grits in water; stir in cheese.
2.Cook bacon; remove, keep fat.
3.Sauté shrimp in bacon fat; remove.
4.Add garlic, butter, flour; cook 1 min.
5.Add broth; simmer into gravy.
6.Return shrimp and bacon.

Serve over grits. Sprinkle with green onions.
