·1 tin sardines in olive oil
·4 oz spaghetti or linguine
·1 tbsp olive oil
·2 cloves garlic, sliced
·1 tbsp capers, drained
·1/4 cup breadcrumbs
·Fresh lemon juice
·Chopped parsley garnish (optional)
1.Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.
2.While pasta cooks, sauté garlic in oil until fragrant. Add sardines and capers, breaking the fish apart with a fork.
3.Toss cooked pasta into the pan with a splash of pasta water.
4.Serve topped with toasted breadcrumbs, parsley and a squeeze of lemon.
