·2 lbs chicken thighs
·2 cups red wine
·1 cup chicken broth
·6 slices bacon, chopped
·1 onion, diced (or use pearl onions)
·2 cups mushrooms
·3 cloves garlic, minced
·1 tbsp flour
·2 tbsp oil
·1 tsp thyme
·Salt & pepper
1.Cook bacon; remove from pan.
2.Brown chicken in fat; remove.
3.Sauté onion, garlic, mushrooms.
4.Stir in flour.
5.Add wine and broth; simmer.
6.Return chicken and bacon; cook 35–40 min.
Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a complete meal.
