Ingredients

·2.25 cups all-purpose flour
·1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt
·1 cup brown butter cooled
·3/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup brown sugar
·2 eggs plus 1 yolk
·2 tsp vanilla
·1 cup dark chocolate chips
·1 cup chopped dark chocolate
·Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

1.Brown butter until nutty. Cool completely.
2.Beat cooled butter with both sugars until fluffy.
3.Add eggs and yolk one at a time. Add vanilla.
4.Fold in flour mixture, then chocolate.
5.Refrigerate dough at least 24 hours.
6.Scoop onto lined baking sheets. Bake at 375°F for 11-13 minutes.
7.Sprinkle with flaky salt the moment they come out.
